Unlike traditional caterers and venues who inflate alcohol prices, we operate on a true concierge model. We calculate exact spirit quantities based on your guest count and drink preferences, provide you with an itemized shopping list, and have you purchase the alcohol directly at retail/distributor pricing. You pay $0 in retail markups on your alcohol inventory.

Are you fully insured and licensed to serve alcohol?

Absolutely. Potomac Pour carries comprehensive $2M General Aggregate and Liquor Liability Insurance. We can easily list your venue, estate, or corporate entity as "Additionally Insured" upon request.

Can you handle the alcohol purchasing and delivery for us?

Yes! While direct client purchasing ensures wholesale/retail savings, our concierge team coordinates direct-to-venue delivery through our licensed retail partners where local D.C./Virginia/Maryland laws permit. We manage the logistics so you don't have to lift a finger.

Will our venue accept your mobile bar service?

Yes. Because we maintain full liquor liability coverage and proper state/local permits, we routinely partner with premier estates, luxury hotels, and private venues across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. We provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) directly to your venue coordinator 14 days prior to your event.

What happens to any leftover unopened alcohol after the event?

Since you purchase the alcohol directly, all remaining alcohol belong entirely to you. At the end of the evening, our team packs up any inventory neatly so you can take it home, save it for your next celebration, or return to ABC.

Do your bartenders hold valid certifications?

Every bartender on our team is professionally certified (such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certified) with extensive luxury hospitality and high-volume mixology experience.

Compliance with State Liquor Laws: Potomac Pour strictly adheres to all state and local alcohol control board regulations in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears visibly intoxicated or fails to provide valid legal identification upon request.

Liability & Indemnity: The host/client is responsible for the overall conduct of their guests. Potomac Pour’s liquor liability coverage protects against incidents directly related to professional beverage service, but does not supersede host liability for unlicensed third-party alcohol brought outside our managed bar program.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy: To secure your event date, a non-refundable retainer and signed service agreement are required. Full cancellation terms, weather contingencies, and rescheduling windows are detailed transparently within your custom proposal contract.

Breakage & Venue Cleanliness: Our team exercises utmost care with venue property and glassware. Standard rental breakage allowances are built into our turnkey packages, ensuring you aren't nickel-and-dimed for minor accidental breakage during high-energy celebrations.
